In 1977, He began on the road to becoming a Free and Accepted Master Mason when he became a member of Lamberton Lodge # 476, Lancaster, PA where he received his 1st - 3rd degree. As a member of Lamberton Lodge he was active as worshipful master in 1984, and again in 1994.
