Dinner Dance Cruises include buffet dinner and dancing to live music. Leave from Weirs Beach daily, and Meredith, Alton Bay, Wolfeboro, or Center Harbor depending on day of the week. Popular for small private events, this indoor lounge offers beautiful views of the lake with doors leading to the Promenade. Any seat on the M/S Mount Washington offers spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee, but some areas offer slightly different experiences. All seating is "first come, first served" on narrated scenic tours, and we encourage passengers to move around and explore the ship at their leisure. Launched on Lake Winnipesaukee in 1945, the M/V Sophie C continues a long tradition of delivering postal mail to the lake's summer island residents.

Thanks to scores of volunteers, the Gundalow Company brought this piece of Granite State maritime history back to life with the construction of a new gundalow in 2012. Today, passengers can enjoy afternoon sails, evening cruises and special concert cruises with beer and wine for sale onboard. Is it possible to host a private function on a Sunday Brunch Cruise?

Maraio says 14 of the 17 beers served onboard are New Hampshire-made. They will also sell chocolates and ice cream made by nearby Kellerhaus and White Mountain Vodka from Tamworth Distilling. He hired a crew from Boston General Ship & Engine Works to dismantle the Chateaguay hull, cut it into 20 sections, and ship it by flatbed railroad car from Shelburne, Vermont, to Lakeport, New Hampshire. They then carefully reassembled the pieces, constructed a new steel superstructure, and outfitted the ship with two 750 hp steam engines, boilers included. The S.S. Mount Washington II was launched Aug. 12, 1940, with a length of 205 feet, a beam of 32 feet and a draft of 7 feet. He purchased the 203-foot Chateaguay in April 1940 for $20,000 and had the boat transported to Lake Winnipesaukee.

Passengers purchasing cruise tickets with the brunch buffet included will be directed to the Main Deck, which is reserved for brunch passengers only. Depending on the number of tickets sold, additional areas of the ship may also be reserved exclusively for brunch passengers. Brunch passengers are not required to sit in areas designated, however these seats have been reserved as a courtesy. The 230-foot grand dame of Winnipesaukee accommodates up to 1,000 passengers.
The M/S Mount Washington has a number of freshly prepared grab 'n go items for sale. Pack a lunch and head to Cate Park, just a quick walk from the dock. With daily deaprtures from Weirs Beach, and convenient depatures from Wolfeboro and Alton Bay on select days, it's easy to fit a cruise on "the Mount" into your travel plans. Located on the third deck on the stern of the ship, this open air section is completely open to the elements, with casual, communal seating that makes it easy for passengers to mingle and make new friends. Passengers seated in the Captains Lounge are near the second deck buffet area, and can order beverages from the Flagship Lounge or on the Main Deck. On Dinner Cruises, entertainment will be offered on the Main Deck, which has the largest dance floor on board. Passengers under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Just recently, Kevin Pettengill was promoted to captain, following in his father’s footsteps. Members of the Pettingill family have worked on the ship for many years. The Morash and Welch families have also worked for the ship as captains and crew members. Ryan Welch, a deck hand, is working toward his goal of becoming a captain, a post that his father, Harry, and grandfather have previously held.

All passengers 5 years or age or older are required to have a ticket. Passengers under the age of 5 do not require a ticket, however they do require a seat. We strongly recommend that parties with young children arrive early to be certain you have seats for every member of the party.
